Darebin Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-2021

Tell us how we can make Darebin a healthier City with happy and strong people!

Council is developing the Darebin Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-2021.
The Plan will set out the vision for Council actions over the next 4 years to ensure the Darebin community is given the opportunity to achieve their highest possible level of emotional, physical and social health and wellbeing. There are many things about a neighbourhood which can affect health and wellbeing.

These include things like:

• getting an education

• living somewhere safe, affordable and convenient

• having a job that you like

• being able to walk easily and safely around your neighbourhood

• easy access to healthy food, social activities and services

• a clean environment

• being able to help others and get help when you need it.

Thank you for participating in the discussion about which topics are most important to be included in the Darebin Health and Wellbeing Plan, and what Council can do to promote and support equal opportunity for health and wellbeing outcomes.

The responses received from the feedback activities and data from various published sources will help us to set the goals, key themes and actions for the 2017-2021 Health and Wellbeing Plan.
