Lifelong Learning Strategy

Life Long Learning

What are we doing?

Darebin City Council are creating our first Lifelong Learning Strategy. The Strategy will help us to support learning for people of all ages and encourage more opportunities for people to learn by working with other organisations.

Lifelong learning:

  • is learning for people of all ages and all life stages
  • includes casual learning (eg learning to knit), structured learning (eg how to use a computer or speak another language) as well as formal education (eg classes at school, university or TAFE)
  • can help you get a certificate, a job or just be for fun.

How do I get involved?

We want this Strategy to benefit you directly and so we would like you complete this short survey to let us know what you think. We will use your feedback to develop our Strategy.

Community survey

The survey will be open from Monday 29 January to Friday 16 February 2018. It will take about 10 minutes to complete.

As a thank you to survey respondents we are giving away five Hoyts Cinema double passes – just add your name and email address at the end of the survey to enter the draw. Your responses will remain anonymous.

Collect and return hardcopy surveys at one of our Darebin Libraries branches.

Focus groups

Our focus groups have now been completed.
